I had a mid life crisis a couple of years ago and decided that the time ad come to change that bit of my life. I had reached 18.5 stone and realised it was stopping me doing things I wanted to and was a real health risk.
Not exactly slim but just over 14 stone and a regular runner - but it takes effort every day to keep it off.
Do you think it makes a difference if you are a man?

I think it is great that you started to value yourself. Well done on your weight loss, you can be my inspiration!
Today I think there is as much pressure on men as women to look good. I think it is hard to maintain the discipline...that is why Heather and I have set a target date but want to see this as a life change. Valuing our bodies for life...what is your best tip for us?
