A New Diet Plateau

This week I got weighed and I had stayed the same - 11 stone 4lbs. Before I would have been disappointed, yet this time I understood.

  • As I near the end of the diet it is getting harder therefore when I don't put weight on or lose a single pound I will celebrate.
  • I now realise that the body does seem to hit a slimming plateau. Every now and again I stall, as though my body need to readjust...that is fine, that is ok.
  • I may not have lost weight but when I plateau I notice that is when my body seems to change shape. Changing shape is as great as losing weight.
  • I now see it as a test of my character - weak people would get down, not me...I want these last 5 lbs so much. I see this as a test of my willpower....anything worth having is worth fighting for!

Let the battle of the final bulge commence!!!

I would congratulate you but I don't know how much a stone weighs...lol.

A stone is 14 lbs so I am now 158lbs from a starting weight of 221lbs - 63lbs lighter. Oh sounds a lot when I write it down!
