The Future of learning

The more I think about development and the more I think about podcasting the more I believe that the 2 are going to become more entwined. The old days of delivering a training course I believe have gone. Training works for skill based training but the more I talk to companies the more I believe that they are looking for development....actual behavioral change. That needs ongoing development and the new social media must play a more and more important role in it. But how do we use this new technology to deliver the new generation of development? I believe that e-coaching has a role, I believe blogging can supplement mentoring and pod casts can be an incredibly cost effective way of achieving the ongoing development. In my role leading the Engaging Brand I want to develop this strategic direction.....anyone got any thoughts and want to be involved in developing our strategy? I just think it would be cool if we write our strategy of creating development on line - creating a future based on what people want.....any thoughts?
