Show #038 - Creating a leadership legacy

As you know from my previous post I was blown away when I interviewed Robert Galford who wrote Your Leadership Legacy with Regina Maruca. Well today I have posted the show which you can find at Blubrry, iTunes or subscribe via this RSS feed- http://www.podcastfm.co.uk/podcast.rss?id=54 .

  1. The framework of legacy thinking for leaders.

  2. How to influence colleagues

  3. Techniques on how to gain feedback

  4. Legacy thinking vs "getting things done today"

  5. A competition on how to win a signed copy of the book. Just e-mail your answer to anna@theengagingbrand.com.

Good to hear from you and thanks for the feedback. You are the first one to say bring back the music, so I will need to consider that.... not sure what your mean on the Skype so I will go and check that out
Anna

Hi, Anna.

I continue to enjoy the podcast, though I kind of miss the introductory music. As long as it's not too long or too loud, it helps create a mood for the show and also has a kind of Pavlovian effect, preparing the mind for your podcast.

Also, I'm not sure what it is or that I'm technically competent to sort it out, but for some reason your Skype interviewees tend to sound rather like Donald Duck. This is a pity since they're saying some great thing and you're asking them some great questions. I suspect it may have to do with whatever you're using to record the conversations operating at a different sample rate than your overall podcasting program.

Finally, GoToMeeting is singular, and the company hasn't bought the domain name for the plural to redirect it (an oversight on their part). You tend to say 'GoToMeetings' instead of 'GoToMeeting,' and this may be misdirecting interested parties.

But congratulations on getting a sponsor and I hope it pays off both for you and for them, as well.
