To boost profits you need to boost motivation at work. In doing this there is a balance - let's say a see-saw for both the employee and employer to play with! Below is an example of how different the views where in a company that I have started working with to boost profits. The first half of the sentences is the employer view on the employees, the second the employees view on how or what they wanted from the employer
S - Seek first to do then understand vs Seek first understand and then do
E - Expect to be held accountable vs Expect you to guide me on what my accountabilities are
E - Ensure you stick to the rules vs Ensure you stick to the values
S - Seek to develop the co vs Seek to develop me
A - Appreciate that we are paying you vs Appreciate that I have given you my talent
W - Work hard for the cause vs Cause me to work hard
