Show 71 Managing Negativity at Work
Show 71 of The Engaging Brand is up and running. Today's show is an interview with Robyn McMaster of Brain Based Biz. Robyn has an impressive CV and with Dr Ellen Weber writes the Brain based business blog which is one of my must reads each day.
Dr. Robyn McMaster is Senior Vice President at the MITA Brain-Based Center. Along with Dr. Ellen Weber, CEO, she leads conferences, workshops and MITA certification for university, medical and business leaders. Recent projects include teaching graduate courses in leadership and ethics to educators and business leaders in Chongqing, China. Recently they worked to certify medical professionals in Ireland, using brain based learning and assessment for higher motivation and achievement.
Robyn’s interest in the brain and how we learn led her to earn a doctorate at University at Buffalo in 2004. Robyn’s own Blog, Brain Based Biz, taps into arts and mind to gather insights that stir leaders' gifts and talents. These strategies enable leaders to effectively use more of their brainpower at work.
On today's show we talk about negativity and how it can occur. It is the Part 1 of a 2 part interview and talks about the effect of negativity and starts to talk about how managers can create it within their teams and how they can turn it around.
