Trust is often seen as the currency of growth, of customer loyalty.
But too often the conversation focuses on how to encourage the customer to trust you, yet the first step in this process is often overlooked.
The first step is trusting your customer, putting faith in them. Too often people daren't have comments on a blog, product reviews on a site, recommend or review competitors...why?
Imagine you are a customer, imagine you are searching for a product...don't you want the best most transparent advice? Don't you want to be trusted to ask the right questions? Don't you want to be treated as an adult not a child?
I think the answer must be of course.....deal with people who are rude, or abusive as it happens...of course but don't mistrust the majority.
I give my trust to you when I feel there is two way respect...
So when you look at your social media work - how much do you trust me? How do you show your trust...how could you do more?
