I think it is time that we think about how to get more women involved. I saw this weekend stats that said that 86.2% of podcasters are male! There is great female talent out there in the blogging and podcasting community and we need to find a way of shining light on this talent.
I have invited Krishna De to join the group who has some ideas on how we could use this group in the future. Krishna is a great speaker, wonderful podcaster/blogger - great to have you on board Krishna.

Anna - thank you so much for inviting me to be a contributing author at the Women in Podcasting community.
As we were discussing, getting the readers of this community together to understand their needs perhaps through a teleconference might be a great start.
Then we can understand how we can best serve them.
To why don't we pick a date and a time - we can use my bridge number.
I feel honoured to have the opportunity to share my learnings and experience in podcasting and encourage more women to join in the podcasting conversation.
And for my first post here, I thought it my be appropriate to share why I love podcasting as that may give some insights why for me it is an indispensible platform for growing your business.

Anna - a further thought. Could we add an email subscription to access the updates on this blog?
I know few people understand how to use RSS. That's why I always recommend adding an email subscription box as well as the usual feed.
I also know that when people get busy they don't always check their feeds, but if a ping goes into their email inbox they are more likely to take notice particularly if a blog post has a compelling headline and first couple of sentances.
