Show 73 of The Engaging Brand is up and running. Remember, you don't need an iPOD to listen! You can listen on your computer or download to an MP3 player and subscribe so that you NEVER miss a future episode...all for FREE!
Today's show is an interview with Drew McLellan of Drews Marketing Minute. Drew's blog has a wonderful subtitle "Where strategy and passion collide" - I love Drew's blog and also the passion for marketing in the most general sense that Drew exudes. Here is a snippet of Drew's background
"Drew McLellan has not only survived 20 years in the advertising and marketing arena, he’s thrived in it. After working for several other agencies, including Young and Rubicam’s CMF&Z, Drew created McLellan Marketing Group in 1995. At MMG, strategy and passion collide as they bring their unique style and practical smarts to life for their clients small and large.
Considered a national expert in branding for both for profit companies and the non-profit world, Drew is highly sought after speaker and has given about a zillion presentations. He’s a straight shooter who talks about marketing in a way you won’t forget. He tells stories, he gives you concrete examples and facts that you can take into the boardroom and most important, he gives you ideas that work. No matter who you are or what your level of expertise."
What a wonderful bio! Great example of marketing a strong personal brand.....today Drew looks at talent and career management, he looks at what the great companies do, he looks at how the power is changing from in the hands of business to hands of the talent, generational differences and much, much more.....Drew mentions in his legacy his love of the word grace, and here is a link to a wonderful article that he wrote about grace in business.

Anna,
Thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your podcast series.
It was wonderful to have the time to talk about a topic that we are both so passionate about -- the power of branding inside a company.
I must also thank you for your graciousness and patience as we fiddled with my technical problems. Next time we talk, I will explain the user error that got in our way!
I look forward to our next chat! And Kelsey says hello!
Drew
