I was reminded today of something Dad used to say...
I was talking about as a business owner you live your business rather than work Monday to Friday...probably a vast generalisation but hey!
Dad once said to me
"You should never have a weekend Anna" I looked and said "Hey Dad we do need to recharge the batteries"
He said "You heard weekend. I said weak end. Always try and finish the week on the up, don't wind down until you leave. Fridays should be about having a strong end to the week as it lifts your mood
1) To enjoy the time off
2) To look forward to coming back on Monday
So work hard for 5 days then make it a 'strong end' so that you can relax and look forward to achieving even greater things next week"
Just love the idea....
Those are great words of wisdom. Far too many people live to work instead of the other way around and they miss far too much. I bust my tail Monday through Friday and you better believe I relax or party on the weekend without even having work cross my mind! When I come back every Monday, I'm more than ready.

I loved your story..Inspiring I would say!
It is something like, "don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today" isn't it?
BTW, Monday is the hardest day of my week! :)
